Lily was proud to show off some of her Maths skills to Mr Bird and Mrs Short today. She explained really well the 'tricks' her Daddy had shown her at home in order to solve questions like 25x3 and 37x5.
Keep up the great work Lily.
An acrostic poem by Isabelle Hicks
Remember soldiers who fought in the war.
Edith saw injured soldiers.
My poppy lay on my cold jumper.
Edith healed lots of soldiers.
My clothes are sopping wet.
Bullets flying everywhere.
Red poppies gently sway through the misty wind.
A lot of soldiers got shot in the war.
No fear. No enemy.
Come home soldiers safe and sound.
End of war is a must.
An acrostic poem by Jack Green
Poppies to remember soldiers that died in the past.
On the fields I see poppies blowing everywhere I go.
Praying to God to help us remember the soldiers who fought to save us.
Poppies are beautiful but they look like a river of blood.
You should remember the time of the soldiers.
