Friends of St Michael's (FOSM)

The Friends of St Michael’s (FOSM) are a group of volunteers made up of parents of current and former students. We give our time to organise a wide variety of activities for the children of St Michael’s including school discos, the Christmas Fair, movie nights, sponsored events and of course our main event of the year the Summer fete. Every penny we raise goes straight back to school to give the children the extra opportunities and experiences that they deserve.

Another one of our roles is running the Uniform Swap shop. Every half term, we provide a free uniform shop for all parents and pupils to help themselves to whatever uniform they need. All our uniform is donated by parents and then sorted by us. This allows us to provide the uniform shop without cost to all.

You will also see us at events such as the nativities, sports day and coffee morning providing drinks and refreshments, this allows us to meet the parents and for them to get to know us.
